We handle excavation for commercial and municipal projects, including site prep, utility work, and grading for new construction, additions, and renovations. Commercial sites come with their own set of constraints, tighter access, active neighbors, inspection schedules, and we plan the work around those realities instead of treating a commercial job like a bigger version of a residential one.
Before equipment ever shows up, we walk the site with the owner, architect, or general contractor to understand the project as a whole, not just the hole we’re digging. That means confirming utility locations, reviewing grading and drainage plans, and lining up the sequence of work so excavation doesn’t hold up the trades scheduled behind us.
From historic buildings to schools and commercial properties, we coordinate closely with contractors and site managers to keep projects moving safely and on schedule. Additions and renovations to existing commercial buildings bring their own challenges, tying new foundation and utility work into structures that were built decades ago, often with little documentation of what’s actually in the ground.
Our work on commercial and municipal projects covers the full scope of site work: excavation and rough grading, utility trenching for water, sewer, and electrical service, and final grading once the structure is up. We keep an eye on safety and site access throughout, since commercial jobs are rarely working in isolation from the rest of the property’s normal use.
