Oil Tank Removal

We excavate and remove underground and above-ground oil tanks, including the surrounding soil work needed to safely extract the tank and prep the site afterward. Oil tank removal comes with more to think about than a typical dig: the tank’s condition, whether it’s leaked, and what that means for the soil around it all have to be assessed before we pull anything out of the ground.

We start by carefully exposing the tank, checking its condition, and confirming whether any product remains inside before it’s disturbed. From there we extract the tank in a way that limits the risk of a spill or additional soil contact, and set it aside for proper disposal.

If the surrounding soil shows signs of contamination, we handle that removal alongside the tank itself, so the site is left clean rather than passing a hidden problem along to the next owner or the next project on that lot. Once the tank and any affected soil are out, we backfill and grade the area so it’s ready for whatever comes next, whether that’s a new tank, a foundation, or simply a clean, usable yard.
